Try to run in command prompt "ping -t" and check the time in ms. When you click on the wifi icon in the bottom right, it should start spiking to a few hundred ms. You can manually disable background scanning, because you don't really change wi-fi networks when gaming.
Nov 11, 2023 · Press ESC to open the settings tab in League of Legends. Navigate to HOTKEYS -> Display, and now you can see the Toggle FPS Display option. Change the key combination and click Okay. Now press your new key combination, and you should see the FPS and Ping on the top right of your screen, like shown in the image below. 18 fps lol ! Anytime before that I've never gone over between 72-80 ping. I've been searching for solutions to fix the issue, and have yet to find one. I tested my ping to Google using my command prompt, and I have 0 packet loss pinging google. I'm not sure if it's an issue with my ISP (Charter Communications) or if its a League of legends server issue.
